The Super Six League completed it's 4th season with Lakeshow defeating Lonestar in a tight battle between two great teams for the league championship. Players were added to the game rosters even out the absent players. The core rosters of the teams were intact and the playoffs were a success again this season. Earlier in the afternoon Lakeshow defeated a very tough Northend team in the semi final matchup. League awards were announced. David Neufeld was named league Most Valuble Player and Defensive Player of the Year. Fraser Valley's Joel Friesen was this season Newcomer of the Year. Rookie of the year went to CP Kings guard Terrell Murdaugh and The Binyam Kifle' Community Effort Award goes to John Thiessen.

The Super Six League staff shifted gears for the months of July and August. The regular season wraps up with the Super Six League playoff in Asquith Saskatchewan. Focus on player development and athletic performance for the local and rural area high school and middle aged players is on deck. Elite basketball instructor Sean Tyson introduces of a series of camps and clinics designed to accomodate the dedicated athlete. The Asquith Athletic Program is offered to many coaches and players in rural Saskatchewan. In the coming months the program evolves to include visits from Coach Rizzo Defensive Specialist from Lower Merion High School in Pennsyvania (the only player to hold Kobe Bryant under 10 points) and shooting guru Dave Hopla currently one of the Toronto Raptors consultants on shooting. Check with the site for confirmed dates and times for these exclusive camps and clinics.
